Do I have a Hearing Loss? or Do INeed a Hearing Aid?

Hearing loss often occurs gradually hence the person with hearing loss may not be aware of the problem. If a person has any of these signs or symptoms, He may have hearing loss -

• Regular Speech is unclear
• Asking others to repeat what they said
• Asking others to speak loudly
• Prefer the TV volume louder than other family members.
• Difficulty in understanding Group Conversations
• Difficulty in understanding conversations from a Distance
• Difficulty in understanding conversations when you are in a Noisy Place
• Difficulty in understanding speech over the Phone
• Have trouble in distinguishing speech consonants (e.g., you hear Panwhen someone saysFan)
• Difficulty in hearing High-Pitched sounds (e.g., Mobile Ringing , Doorbell, Alarm Clock, Birds)

Nature equipped humans with two ears for a good reason. The symmetrical arrangement and coordination between them makes our Perception and Communication Better and Easier.
Binaural Hearing (Hearingfrom both the ears) helps a person -
• To Perceive the sound from Longer Distance
- A sound that is heard with difficulty by one ear at a distance of 5 meters can be heard well by both ears even from a Longer Distance.

• The functionality of a sense organ is also dependent on whether or not it is stimulated regularly. Hearing loss will get increased gradually in Un-Aided ear ( Ear without a Hearing Aid) due to lack of stimulation.

How often to clean the hearing aids?

You should clean your hearing aids just before storing them back in the case after use Every Day or at least Every Alternate Day.

• Ear-Tip of the hearing aid which stays in your ear canal needs to be cleaned whenever you see Earwax, Dust or any Oily / Watery substance on it.

• Clogged ear-tip may block the Sound Outlet and affect the loudness and quality of the sound you hear.

4. How often to replace the Ear-tips and Wax Guards?

• Even with regular cleaning, you need to replace the Ear-tips and Wax Guards every 4 to 6 months. Because the Ear-tipsmay lose its shape or stiffness over a period of time, which may decrease the quality of sound.

How long for a fully charge and how long can it last?

All the hearing aids are rechargeable. But different models have different charging and battery life. You can find it in the User Manual.

Can the hearing aids sit in the charger for 24 hours without damaging the batteries?

They can sit in the charger for 24 hours without damaging the batteries, because it will automatic cut-off the power when the batteries are fully charged.

Sound is weak or no sound

Check the Hearing Aids to be sure that they are Switched On.

• Make sure the power is full.

• Check the tubing for any signs of moisture, debris or ear wax blockages.

• Reposition the hearing aid tubing/ear-tip in your ear canal.

Sound is distorted or intermittent

If the hearing aid gets exposed to a humid environment, sweat or other moisture, It may clog the aid and sounds becomes distorted.

• Check the Tube or Ear-tips for debris or ear wax and clean it.

• If your issue has not resolved, Please contact our Repair/Customer Care team.

Whistling sound appears

When some amount of amplified sound leaks from the ear canal out, the microphoneof the hearing aid catches it again and the sound gets re-amplified. When this cycle keeps repeating, whistling sound appears, which is also known as a Feedback sound.

It happens in following situations -

• When the inserted ear-tip is smaller than the diameter of the ear canal: Try a larger sized ear-tip.

• When the ear-tip is not inserted properly into the ear canal:Before you insert the ear-tip in the ear canal, pull the ear upward and backward then insert the ear-tip into the ear canal, it helps it to fit better and deeper.

• When the ear canal is with full of wax: In this condition due to wax, the amplifies sound reflects back from the ear canal. Please visityour ENT professional to get the wax removed properly. ( NOTE: DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE WAX BY YOURSLEF AT HOME)

• When there is any crack in the tube or the ear-hook: Please contact our Repair/Customer care Team

How to wear eyeglasses with a hearing aid ?

Many people successfully wear both eyeglasses and hearing aids. For best results, wear your Hearing Aids first and then your glasses to ease the process.

Can I get my hearing aids repaired after the warranty expires?

Yes, You can get your hearing aids repaired after the warranty Expires. Contact our customer care team on for the Repair Procedure and Repair Charges Information.

What is the return policy?

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with the product, you have 07 days from the date of delivery (as reported by shipment tracking) to return. All products MUST include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for Return process. Contact our Customer Care team for a RMA number)
We are unable to honorthe return requests after 07 days from the date of purchase.

Can I change my order ?

DO avoid physical shock to your hearing aid, such as dropping it or stepping on it.
• DO charge the hearing aid until it is fully charged with each charge.
• DO store your hearing aid in a cool, dry place.
• DO NOT keep your hearing aid in Refrigerator.
• DO NOT leave your hearing aid out in the sunlight for long time.
• DO NOT expose your hearing aids to excess heat.
• DO NOT expose your hearing aids to excess moisture.
• DO NOT use your hearing aids while in the shower.
• DO NOT use your hearing aids in the rain.
• DO NOT wash your hearing aids with water.
• DO NOT swim with your hearing aids on.
• DO NOT use hair spray while wearing your hearing aids on.
• DO NOT use a hair dryer while wearing your hearing aids on.
• DO NOT let your hearing aids go through the dryer.
• DO NOT store the hearing aid or charging case for over a month without charging in order to extend the overall life of your battery
